The information is provided as-is

Mass and confession times on Sacristan are read from what dioceses and parishes publish and are shown with the date we last read them. Parishes change their hours without notice. We make no promise that a listed Mass takes place, and we are not responsible for a wasted journey; check with the parish before travelling, especially for feast days and holidays.

Using the site

You may read, link to and quote pages freely. Automated bulk copying of the directory (scraping) is not permitted without asking first; write to hello@sacristan.io and we will usually say yes, or point you at the source the data came from. Search-engine crawling is welcome and governed by our robots.txt.

Sources and licences

• Timetables and parish contacts are facts published by the dioceses and parishes named on each page. We claim no rights over them.
• Church locations and many addresses: © OpenStreetMap contributors, under the Open Database Licence.
• Photographs: hosted by Wikimedia Commons, each under the licence shown beside it (mostly Creative Commons); the author and licence are credited on every page and the photograph links to its Commons page.
• Administrative boundaries and place names: the national statistics offices of each country, under their open-data licences.
• Our own text, page design and the arrangement of the directory: © 2026 Bruno Montibeller.

Corrections and take-downs

A parish or diocese may ask us to correct its listing, mark it as confirmed, or remove a photograph; see Contact. We act on such requests promptly.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of Portugal. If any part is unenforceable, the rest still applies. We may update these terms; the date at the top tells you when.
