History
Die Paternosterkirche auf dem Ölberg in Jerusalem steht an der Stelle, an der Jesus seine Jünger das Vaterunser gelehrt haben soll. Schon um 330 wurde dort die konstantinische Eleona-Kirche über einer Grotte errichtet, die 614 von den Persern zerstört wurde. Die heutige Kirche entstand 1874/75 und wird von französischen Karmelitinnen betreut; die Grotte wurde 1911 wiederentdeckt. (German)
